Top 10 cafés in Paris

I love to travel and what better way to enrich yourself in the culture, then by trying their traditional food and drinks? As a coffee-obsessed human being, I enjoy immerse myself in the culture through (not only) coffee traditions. I was very blessed this month to have the opportunity to travel Paris, France; and if you haven’t seen the beauty that Paris has to offer, I suggest you put it on your bucket list ASAP (as soon as possible) Paris is an experience in its own right and something every single person needs to experience. The history, the architecture, and the food are something unlike anywhere I have been in the world. Today’s post is going to be all about the top 10 spectacular cafe’s that have captured my attention and my life while being here in Paris.

Number 10: Le Cafe des Chats, Bastille

For those of you who are not French speakers, the cafe’s name represents what they are; a cafe where you can eat (or drink coffee) with the sweetest cats you’ll ever see. I, for one, am not a cat person, and am actually fairly allergic to them; nonetheless, this was one of the coolest experiences of my life! I have never been to a cat cafe before, and the thought of drinking coffee and eating food with cats crawling around everywhere was not an idea I thought would be incredibly comfortable to me, but I tried it just the same. I love animals and thought that this concept was very interesting and the food was really great!

Location: 9 Rue Sedaine, 11th district, 75011 Paris, France

Number 9: Fauchon

Paris, this place is beyond words. The food is gourmet, and the atmosphere is incredible. The price per person ranges from 5 euros-10 euros depending on what is ordered, so it is fairly pricey. It is worth the prices.

Location: 30 Place de La Madeleine, Shop 24/26, 75008

Number 8: Fragments Paris

I love this place! The food and coffee is incredible! My favourite part of “Fragments Paris” is the healthy food options (especially for vegetarians). The cafe is very cozy and the employees were very welcoming.

Location: 76, rue de Tournelles, 75003 Paris, France

Number 7: La Petite Marquise

This cafe should be called “a small little piece of paradise” because everything about La Petite Marquise is perfection. The price points were very low, but the quality and the flavour of the food was way beyond what they charged. You know it’s good, when the Parisians are crowding the place at 7:45am.

Location: 3 Place Victor Hugo, 75016 Paris, France

Number 6: Au Petit Versailles du Marais

There’s nothing better than freshly baked pastries in the morning. Every time I went to Au Petit Versailles du Marais, the enchanting smell that was coming from their kitchen hypnotized me. It was incredible. The eclairs were to die for.

Location: 27 Rue Francois Miron, Cnr 1 Rue Tiron, Paris, France

Number 5: La Tasse Du Marais

This fashionable cafe is one of Paris’ secret treasures. Just like most Parisian cafe’s, everything is handmade on location and every single bite is delicious. The coffee is incredible, but you can’t miss their chocolate mousse cup (it’s perfection). The interiors of the cafe is very beautiful and cozy.

Location: 26, Rue Charlot, 26, Rue Charlot, 75003 Paris, France

Number 4: Lindt Store Paris

My questions is: who DOESN’T love Lindt? I’m certain that there is not one person in this world who dislikes Lindt. Lindt is my favourite chocolate brand in the world and their cafe exceeds those expectations. They are amazing and the caffe mocha is delicious too! And the best part is, when you buy a coffee from Lindt, you can get a shot of either dark or milk chocolate inside your coffee, it. Is. amazing.

Location: 11 Bis Rue Scribe, 75009 Paris, France

Number 3: Bagel Baget Cafe

Mmmm… I am still dreaming about the smoked salmon and philly bagel I ate at “Bagel Baget Cafe” two of my favourite things in one bite! The coffee was perfect and the service was great! The price points were reasonable.

Location: 91 rue de la Verrerie, 75004 Paris, France

Number 2: Angelina Paris

Angelina, Angelina, Angelina why do you make me fall in love when I know I can’t stay in Paris forever? This cafe is incredible in every way and is the definition of Parisian luxury, which is incredible to take part in even just for a little while. Food taste, quality and display was beyond words and the service was impeccable. The price points were very low compared to how amazing everything was. Angelina Paris is definitely a must see when in Paris, you just will never be the same after you try it.

Location: 226 Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris, France

Number 1: Les Deux Magots

This incredible cafe is famous for not only its food, but also for being an incredible hot spot for traveling celebrities who wants a good brasserie to grab a quick, and amazing bite to eat. Anyone who has ever taken part in Paris Fashion Week has eaten at this amazing cafe!

For everyone who hasn’t been to Paris, you should know, it is very hard to find any brasserie or cafe that isn’t impeccable. It was very hard for me to narrow it down to my top 10 favourites.
