Plum poppy seed muffins

This is the perfect autumn recipe and combination of sweet Slovak flavours mixed in small American-style cakes that everyone knows as muffins.
Ingredients for 9 muffins:
-125ml Greek yoghurt
-80g brown sugar
-1/4 teaspoon of salt
-1/4 teaspoon of bicarbonate soda
-1 teaspoon of baking powder
-200g pitted plums (pickled or fresh)
-1 tablespoon of poppy seed
Preheat the oven to 190°C and line 9 muffin tins with paper muffin cases. Let the butter melt over low heat in a small pot and mix it together with yoghurt and egg in a bowl. Combine the flour with other dry ingredients and slowly add the content of the first bowl. Mix in a freestanding electric mixer for 5 minutes; then cut the plums into quarters and add half of them, together with poppy seeds into the mixture. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tins; put the rest of the plums on the top (skin downwards) and sprinkle them with brown sugar and more poppy seeds. Bake it for 20 minutes, then leave it to cool down.
