Easy Christmas Butter Cookies
December 17 2014
Lovely and sweet christmas presents, why not? Christmas is already all around us so I have decided to introduce you to these unbelievably tasty cookies. Enjoy your cozy winter days with a cup of hot tea or coffee, and never forget - cookies are supposed to be made with love!
250g softened unsalted butter
110grams caster sugar (for better results use only caster, not granulated white sugar)
160grams all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
It is really easy, just beat the butter and caster sugar on a high spped until it turns light yellow and fluffy, add the vanilla extra and mix it well. On a medium speed, add the remaining ingredients; flour and mix it until you end up with cookie dough, then let it chill in the fridge for about 30mins. Gently roll it out (so it’s not too thick and not too thin) and cut out the shapes you want. I have used some cookie stamps as you can see. Let it chill in the fridge for 20 more minutes, then bake for about 15 minutes on 190 degrees. Enjoy!
